After living in India until the age of eighteen, Rohan moved to the United States to pursue his undergraduate studies at Washington and Lee University. Since graduating, Rohan has worked as an analyst at an investment bank, a consultant to an urban public school system and an economic policy researcher at a think tank. Before starting his MBA he spent three months working with a microfinance institution in Cambodia.

Rohan enjoys writing and is very excited to serve as a Darden Student Blogger for another year. As an undergraduate, he spent his junior year abroad in London where he maintained a blog. At his think tank job he published op-eds in Forbes, National Review and Real Clear Markets, among many other outlets. He is happy to have this opportunity to continue writing and share his Darden experience with prospective and current students, faculty, family and friends.

Rohan first visited Darden as an undergraduate and loved the school. While exploring business school options, he came back to Grounds to meet Darden students, faculty and staff and knew he had found the right school for himself. Darden’s unique traditions including First Coffee, the case study method and learning team as well as personal adventures such as a kaizen trip to a Danaher facility in Miami and winning a case competition at MIT with classmates made his first year a memorable one.

In his second year at Darden, Rohan hopes to continue soaking in all that Charlottesville and its beautiful surroundings have to offer and add golf to the list of sports he plays.
